This $1.1 million project involved reconstructing 6500 feet of 24 and 36 foot face to face local roads in Shorewood.
Extensive pavement warping was required to ensure proper drainage at or across intersections. At two intersections the main roadway cross-slope was rotated to better match the hilly profiles of the side roads while still providing a smooth ride on the main roadway.
Bonestroo completed the topographic survey and created the basemap and digital terrain model used during design. Bonestroo also provided bidding and construction observation services.
