Through Mundelein’s 2006 Street Improvement Program, Bonestroo helped instill a sense of community in neighborhoods that hadn’t been touched in nearly 50 years.

The redevelopment efforts reconstructed roadways to current standards, adding curb and gutter improvements as well as a storm sewer system to help prevent flooding. New sidewalks, driveways, and a new parkway helped revitalize the area and infused residents with a sense of neighborhood pride.
