The St. Cloud Comprehensive Plan Update sets forth the basic guiding principals for one of the largest and fastest-growing areas in Minnesota, outside the Twin Cities. The City’s new comprehensive plan takes into account considerable growth and change within the community, and implements elements of the St. Cloud Joint Planning District Plan adopted in 2000. Bonestroo crafted a plan that guides development within and adjacent to the City and protects growth and transportation corridors as well as natural resources. Protecting the area’s natural features was one of the main focuses of the plan.
