Bonestroo assisted the City of Dayton in obtaining more than $79,000 in grant money from the Safe Routes to School fund. More than 75 applications were submitted to Mn/DOT competing for $1.7 million. With our help, Dayton was able to successfully navigate the funding application and position itself to become one of 17 cities receiving a grant.
The funds will be used to design and construct a pedestrian and bicycle path along Diamond Lake Road leading to Dayton Elementary School.
