Bonestroo realigned 1.5 miles of TH 10 and designed a new interchange at TH 10 and CSAH 14 and 15, west of Elk River, to address a dramatic increase in accidents and congestion. Listed by the state as an at-risk corridor, and identified by Mn/DOT as a high-accident intersection, improvements tremendously enhanced user safety.
To minimize impacts to adjacent farmlands and private irrigation systems, our design team involved affected landowners in the design process, which resulted in definitive support for addressing the roadway’s safety concerns and an improved design for landowners.
