Parking Lot Porous Pavers, Bonestroo Office Building
A subsurface stormwater storage system was installed beneath the new and reconstructed parking lots next to the Bonestroo Headquarters.

Surface water flows through the pavers into seven storage/infiltration chambers. The chambers control water quantity by slowing the rate at which runoff enters the pond, and improve water quality by filtering the water. Manholes allow the discharge to be monitored to see what level of treatment is occurring. The south parking lot features a rainwater garden that is hydraulically connected to the larger porous pavement system.
