Week of August 23rd

• Last week the Contractor poured concrete curb and gutter on the West & East side of Lake Street (TH 61) from 2nd Ave SE/SW and just past 1st Ave SE.
• The Contractor (Pipe Crew) will continue to install storm sewer at the intersection of Broadway Ave (CSAH 2) and Lake Street (TH 61).  When they complete this work the pipe crew will finish the remaining water service replacement work North of the future concrete roundabout area.  The remaining work is on the East side of Lake Street (TH 61) from the Franklin Building to 2nd Ave NE.
• The Electrical Contractor will be onsite this week installing electrical conduit, light pole bases, and handholes on Lake Street (TH 61) between 2nd Ave SE/SW to 1st Ave SE.
• The Contractor (Road Crew) will begin subcutting for the future roadway section of the concrete roundabout area (Jelly Jar Cafe & Kodiak Coffee), prepping the subgrade, installing geotextile fabric, and placing select granular borrow modified material.
• The Contractor will also pour the other halves of the driveway aprons that haven't been completed yet.  Depending how the schedule goes this week, the Contractor would also like to pour concrete sidewalk from 2nd Ave SE/SW to 1st Ave SE on both the West and East side of Lake Street (TH 61).
• Weekly Construction Meeting will be held at City Hall on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.  From 3:30PM - 4:30PM Open House Hours are being held for Businesses and Residents for any questions or concerns they have with the Construction Project or just to be updated on the project schedule.  If you are unable to make this time and date feel free to call Ryan Goodman at 651-967-4616.

Week of August 30th

• Monday & Tuesday we are pouring concrete sidewalk on the West & East side of Lake Street (TH 61) from 2nd Ave SE/SW up just past 1st Ave SE!
• The Contractor (Pipe Crew) will continue to install storm sewer on West Broadway and work on the remaining water service improvements on the East side of Lake Street (TH 61) just South of 2nd Ave NE.
• The Contractor (Road Crew) has been and will continue to haul granular material to build the future roadway section.  Most of this work is being done in the area of Lake Street (TH 61) and Broadway Ave (CSAH 2).
• If removals and prep work can get completed on Lake Street (TH 61) from the Town Square building to 2nd Ave NW/NE we could be pouring concrete curb & gutter in this area.
